POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Housekeeping team member at Manzanita Beach Getaway Rentals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional stay. Your attention to detail, organization skills, and commitment to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and presentation will be essential. You will be responsible for cleaning, preparing, and staging our rental homes, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for our guests. We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and can efficiently manage their tasks while upholding our standard of service and care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean, prepare, and stage homes to MBG standards through proper cleaning techniques, attention to detail, and organization
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens
- Restock household items and inspect for any damage or missing items
- Notify the team of maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning
- Follow company checklists and procedures to ensure consistency and thoroughness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage areas
- Ensure all linens and towels are laundered and presented to company standards
- Occasionally assist with property inspections or last-minute touch-ups before guest arrivals
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience cleaning in a vacation rental, hotel, or similar hospitality setting preferred
- Must be organized and able to multitask
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality work
- Demonstrates strong self-motivation and takes pride in maintaining a professional, independent work ethic
- Strong time-management skills to complete assignments within tight turnarounds
- Must be comfortable using cleaning equipment and supplies
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Weekend availability required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $20 - $23 Depending on longevity in this role and experience
Bonus
End-of-season bonus if staying through September
