POSITION SUMMARY:
Island Breeze Vacations is looking for a hands-on and strategic Operations Manager to oversee the full scope of our daily operations. This role is central to ensuring seamless guest experiences and property readiness by managing workflows across housekeeping checkers, runners, maintenance teams, and guest services.
The ideal candidate is an organized leader who thrives in a dynamic, hospitality-driven environment and understands the rhythm of vacation rental operations. You’ll coordinate check-in and check-out logistics, support prompt and effective maintenance responses, and ensure guest satisfaction through high-touch service. You’ll also assist with owner communications and property inspections to uphold the quality standards our brand is known for.
This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to keep multiple moving parts running smoothly, especially during high-occupancy seasons.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement operational systems and best practices to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Lead and support staff across multiple departments, ensuring performance and team cohesion
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans when needed
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Oversee inventory management, vendor relationships, and timely procurement
- Monitor compliance with company policies and local/state regulations
- Maintain high-quality standards across all service touchpoints
- Handle escalated guest issues with professionalism and urgency
- Track KPIs and use data to drive performance improvements
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to align operations with business objectives
- Champion internal communication and leverage technology to streamline tasks
- Stay current on industry trends and operational best practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of proven experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar leadership role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to drive strategic goals while managing day-to-day execution
- Excellent communication skills; Spanish-speaking is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office; experience with LiveRez and Ignite is a plus
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to seasonal demands
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 based on experience
Bonus
Annual bonus based on occupancy and company performance
