POSITION SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented individual to support the day-to-day management of our social media and content initiatives across three growing brands: Proper Insurance, Waivo, and Wister.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves spotting trends early, and wants to grow their marketing skillset by playing a key support role on a fast-moving team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Management
- Post and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and tagged content
- Proactively engage with STR-related content, Facebook groups, and creators
- Help source UGC and maintain a friendly, on-brand presence for all brands
- Stay up to date on trends and assist with timely content creation
Content Creation & Editing
- Assist with trend-based filming and editing (CapCut or Premiere)
- Clip and repurpose long-form content into social-ready bites
- Draft captions and CTAs with guidance
- Create basic graphics in Canva (thumbnails, story slides, quote posts, etc.)
- Organize and maintain our content folders and asset libraries
Community & Creator Support
- Engage with creators, hosts, and PMs to build brand relationships
- Help track creator partnerships and confirm FTC compliance
- Pull basic performance reports to monitor growth and engagement
Internal Communication & Campaign Support
- Coordinate and send internal engagement recap emails (design + link recent posts across all three brands)
- Support campaign execution (trend pitches, timely ideas, platform optimization)
Bonus Responsibilities — Cross-Team Support
We’re a collaborative team, and this role will occasionally support other team members with projects and marketing goals. This may include:
- Assisting with internal communications and light external outreach
- Helping maintain relationships with property managers through timely follow-ups or resource sharing
- Performing digital content or website updates across internal and external platforms as needed with direction and help from other teammates
- Supporting event prep and tradeshow logistics, including occasional in-person errands like running to printer/UPS/USPS/etc. (must have a reliable vehicle)
- Coordinating print materials, business cards, or light shipping needs when necessary
This role is ideal for someone who’s adaptable, proactive, and happy to jump in wherever support is needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- You get social media and naturally understand platform culture
- You have a sharp eye for design, spacing, and publish-ready visuals
- You're organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, team-first environment
- You're eager to learn (especially about insurance and the STR world)
- You're just as happy filming a Reel as you are prepping an internal email
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro experience
- Canva or basic graphic design knowledge
- Experience with email platforms like Mailchimp or Klaviyo
- Familiarity with creator partnerships or UGC programs
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $48,000 - $52,000
