POSITION SUMMARY:

Retreatia is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Steamboat Springs, CO. In this hands-on role, you’ll travel between multiple worksites each day, completing repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections to keep our homes safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and owners. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting common issues (appliances, cable/WiFi, light plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC filters), completing general repairs and small projects, and ensuring assigned work orders are handled promptly. You’ll also support colleagues when needed and participate in required team meetings. On-call availability for after-hours emergencies is part of this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete maintenance tasks and projects, traveling between multiple worksites each day.
• Create a welcoming environment for our guests and owners by ensuring our homes are well maintained general repairs, preventative maintenance & inspections.
• Respond to guest issues (assigned work order) regarding maintenance, as needed including but not limited to:
  • Appliance troubleshooting
  • Cable/Wifi troubleshooting
  • Basic HVAC repair
  • Fireplace troubleshooting
  • Light plumbing
  • Basic electrical knowledge.
  • Paint, clean, and troubleshoot repairs inside homes.
  • Drywall, and basic carpentry skills.
• Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with team members and management team.
• Collect and remove trash and debris.
• On-call service for after hour's emergencies
• Ensure follow through on assigned maintenance tasks using in-house assignment system and respond to time-sensitive maintenance needs.
• Evaluate the condition of the vacant units.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year year of experience in a maintenance role preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be extremely detailed with outstanding communication skills.
• Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
• Must have a valid Driver License, pass an MVR check and background check.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, afternoons and on-call hours as required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $28.00
