POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced accounting professional with strong technical skills and a talent for leading others? We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to join our growing vacation rental management company. This is a pivotal role for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering accurate, high-quality work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including Profit & Loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth, improve margins, and ensure long-term fiscal health.
- Ensure accurate and compliant handling of all tax processes, including sales tax, occupancy tax, payroll tax, and year-end filings; support external CPA firms during tax season.
- Manage billing, invoicing, and payment workflows specific to vacation rental operations, ensuring timeliness and precision.
- Support payroll administration and benefits reconciliation, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist with audits and budget planning, and lead special projects related to financial forecasting, performance analysis, and operational improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required if holding a Bachelor's in Accounting.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience required with a degree in another field.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and payroll/tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including functions, pivot tables, and reporting); familiarity with QuickBooks Online, or other accounting platforms, is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
Bonus
Annual bonuses awarded to select employees based on performance and merit.
