POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Property Manager at Meredith Lodging, you will oversee a portfolio of homes throughout the Bend, Oregon area, ensuring each property is well cared for and every guest enjoys a positive and memorable stay. This role is responsible for all aspects of housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring that every home is clean, safe, and well-maintained for guests and owners. You’ll coordinate vendor schedules, guide daily operations, and maintain clear plans for property upkeep and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities include supervising housekeeping and maintenance staff, managing laundry services, scheduling cleanings, coordinating supply orders, and responding to both routine and emergency maintenance needs. You will observe established policies and procedures to maintain consistency, safety, and high-quality operations across all properties, while working closely with internal departments to keep workflows organized and efficient.

Success in this position requires the ability to build strong relationships, maintain high operational standards, and manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail. You should be organized, reliable, and comfortable both conducting audits and being audited. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll interact regularly with homeowners, vendors, and staff. This role is well suited for someone who is solution-oriented and confident working independently. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage team schedules to ensure proper coverage and efficient daily operations.
  • Coordinate vendor schedules when needed, ensuring timely and reliable service.
  • Uphold high standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and overall property readiness.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping or maintenance with professionalism, clarity, and care.
  • Develop and execute plans that keep properties in excellent condition year-round.
  • Oversee the work order system to ensure all homes are maintained, repaired, and functioning properly.
  • Take every opportunity to WTG (Wow the Guest) and consistently maintain an average review score of 4.65 or higher.
  • Support owner retention by caring for each property in alignment with the homeowner’s expectations and standards.
  • Foster a positive work culture by maintaining a happy, motivated, and long-tenured team.
  • Manage your assigned territory responsibly, staying within budgeted requirements while delivering quality service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in short term rentals or hospitality.
  • High school or equivalent required, a degree is preferred
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Must have a Smart Phone
  • Ability to learn and utilize computer software and programs
  • Enjoy the sometimes hectic and chaotic nature of the housekeeping environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal communication
  • Bi-Lingual (English / Spanish) is not required but is a plus with our diverse workforce

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $55000 - $62000

Schedule

Full Time. Hours of operation are Sunday through Saturday with scheduled days based on business needs. Weekend work is required. Holiday work may be required based on business needs.
